Abstract

In this paper, we present a hardware implementation of a smart antenna test-bed for real-time simulation of our adaptive beam-form algorithm. The test-bed consists of a PC(RX-data generation), interface module, and beam-former(weight computation) implemented on a stand-alone PCB with TMS320C6701. The performance improvements are shown in terms BER and achievable capacity in a wide-band CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) WLL (Wireless Local Loop) channel.
