Abstract

The effect of heterogeneous microstructure of titanium alloys on superplastic deformation was studied. The grain size, distribution of grain size and volume fraction of phases were quantified. Distributions of grain sizes at 900°C were presented. Analytical results indicate that grain growth was dependent on strain rate.
