Abstract

We study the structure and Lorentz properties of the Neveu-Schwarz (NS) three-string vertex in the super lightcone diagram (SLD) formalism. By studying the Lorentz behavior of the SLD, we construct the Lorentz generators and show that the Lorentz algebra closes if the spacetime dimension is equal to 10, thereby prove the Lorentz invariance of the theory at the off-shell level. The Lorentz transformation is equivalent to the superconformal transformation and induces a coordinate transformation in the supermoduli space. The integrand of the S-matrix changes by a total derivative in the supermoduli space under the Lorentz transformation.
